Setting Up the LanguageMaster Dictionary As the Default Dictionary for Chinese

Each LanguageMaster dictionary should be set up as the Kindle default dictionary for Chinese as follows:

• On the Kindle Home Page tap the vertical three dots ( ⋮ ) in the upper right-hand corner and then select Settings to go to the Settings page.

• On the Settings page, tap Language Dictionaries.

• On the Language Dictionaries page, tap Dictionaries.

• On the Dictionaries page, tap Chinese.

• On the Chinese Dictionaries page, select the LM Instant-Lookup Chinese-English Dictionary and tap OK.

• Return to the Kindle Home page.

Changing the Search Dictionary

When characters are highlighted, the pop-up window may open with the entry from another Kindle dictionary if the LanguageMaster dictionary has no entry for the highlighted characters, it has not been set as the default Chinese dictionary,  or if the author has not specified Chinese as the language of the ebook.

The user can change the current search dictionary "on the fly" by tapping on the dictionary name in the lower right corner of the Entry dialog box.
